{"id":23982,"date":"2024-04-04T12:27:37","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T17:27:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.\/?page_id=23982"},"modified":"2024-04-04T12:32:53","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T17:32:53","slug":"mission-and-vision","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.\/en\/mission-and-vision\/","title":{"rendered":"Mission and Vision"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mission<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Universidad Pedag\u00f3gica Nacional (UPN) educates human beings, as individuals and teachers, professional educators and educational stakeholders to serve the Nation and the World in all levels of the education system and the entire population taking into account their heterogeneity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UPN researches, generates and disseminates educational, pedagogical, didactical and professional teaching knowledge, and contributes to the public policymaking of education.&nbsp;<br><br>UPN bases its action on education of children, youth and adults from their heterogeneity with a global awareness, seeking identity and national development.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UPN strengthens a straight and ongoing interaction with society to contribute towards a nation and region building based on dialogue with the rest of educational institutions, teachers, social organizations and educational officers to generate educational policies and development plans in different settings.\u00a0<br><br>From this perspective, UPN works for education as a fundamental right and an educational culture that guides future of our country.
