The event, organized by the Ministry of Education and The National Real Estate Agency (ANIM), featured active participation from local communities and the presence of the Universidad Pedag\u00f3gica Nacional (UPN), reaffirming its commitment to public, territorial and high-quality education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, UPN Rector Helberth Choach\u00ed highlighted the importance of relaunching the transfer of properties and the advancement of developments that will enable the consolidation of the future Public and Popular University of Suba Tibabuyes. This project is aligned with processes the University has been advancing in the locality, including the Valmar\u00eda area, and aims to strengthen territorial connections to ensure the right to public higher education. \u201cWe are gathered today at a very special event (\u2026) where we will have the Public and Popular University of Suba Tibabuyes as part of the development we have been carrying out in Suba (\u2026) in a space that allow us to connect the entire neighborhood, guaranteeing the right to public higher education\u201d, stated the rector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event marks the start of the construction on the Suba University Multicampus, a strategic initiative that will bring higher education closer to local communities under the slogan \u201cEducation that sets us free\u201d. This initiative is part of the dynamics of the National Youth and Students Festival, consolidating itself as a space for youth engagement, culture, and mobilization in the center of the town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was attended by Minister of Education, Daniel Rojas, who stated: \u201cWe are living in a historic moment in which we are the protagonists of change in Colombia, where history has been divided in two for the future of our people. Now, colleagues, we place the Ministry at the service of ensuring rights, particularly the right to education, while financially protecting public universities\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The community participated in this event, which symbolizes the strengthening of public education in Bogot\u00e1.
