The Universidad Pedagógica Nacional conducted an institutional visit to the University of the Llanos (Unillanos) with the aim of continuing to strengthen academic and institutional cooperation between the two public universities.
The Pedagógica delegation was led by Rector Helberth Choachí, who participated in a dialogue session focused on consolidating joint initiatives that contribute to improving education across the regions and strengthening public higher education in the country.
During his visit, Choachí stated that the benefits arising from collaboration and reciprocity would include strengthening and enhancing academic opportunities for students through dual-degree programs, fostering national mobility exchanges that connect different regions of the country, developing strategies and funding proposals for collaborative research among universities, and exploring new academic program initiatives.
Regarding the visit, Charles Arosa, Rector of Unillanos, expressed his satisfaction with the presence of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, noting that it provides an opportunity to envision and build the major partnerships that both institutions can establish together. During the meeting, the universities advanced discussions on potential academic cooperation initiatives, knowledge exchange, and coordinated efforts aimed at benefiting educational communities and promoting regional development.
This visit reaffirms the commitment of both the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional and the University of the Llanos to building strategic partnerships that foster knowledge, high-quality education, and regional development through a public, inclusive, and transformative approach to education.
